Welcome Letter

Dear FIU Panther Network Leaders:

This year we are excited to bring alumni volunteer leaders from Panther Networks across the globe back to our beautiful campus for a weekend of inspiration, learning, sharing, and networking. Attendees can expect to hear from FIU Leaders, learn about the university’s strategic plan, engagement initiatives, capital campaign updates, goals, and you will also have the opportunity to hear and learn from each other while helping the FIU Alumni Association learn how we can continue to best support your programming.

This year we have planned the summit to coincide with our 3rd annual Panther Alumni Week (PAW) – a weeklong of service during which alumni are invited to return as guest speakers to inspire our students and share career advice.  Alumni can sign up HERE to speak during classes or panels and share their career advice and professional experiences.  PAW is scheduled for February 1st – 5th and occurs on all campuses.  In an effort to incorporate PAW with the summit, we have arranged the following for you:

  1. Friday, Feb. 5th:  Lunch for our outstanding students hosted by our Panther Network Leaders
  2. Friday, Feb. 5th:  Volunteer leaders are invited to attend the PAW Closing Reception with all 200+ PAW participants and President Rosenberg

You play a vital role in the advancement of our FIU.  Your leadership and outreach efforts provide the glue that keeps our alumni engaged, educated, and ultimately giving back to their alma mater.  We are excited to host all of you back on campus and work together to strengthen and grow our Panther Networks around the world.

See you in February!

In Panther Spirit,

Amanda
